01. Apply once
Tell us how you like to spend your time, what kinds of friendships you are open to, and what helps you feel comfortable in a group. A person reviews every founding-pilot application.
Applicants must be 19–35 and able to attend downtown Toronto events.
02. Verify privately
Approved applicants confirm identity and age through Stripe Identity. A manual, non-biometric review path is available when needed.
Hosts never see your identity document. CircleTO retains only the minimum verification status required to operate safely.
03. Choose a gathering
Buy a single-event ticket—never a subscription. Every page shows the group cap, minimum attendance, exact total, and cancellation terms before checkout.
04. Meet your circle
A temporary moderated chat opens 24 hours before. At the gathering, the host provides enough structure to make starting easy and enough space for real conversation.
05. Reconnect privately
After attendance is confirmed, you may privately select friendship or romantic interest. Contact details are revealed only when both people independently choose the same connection type.
